My journey into plastering began over a decade ago, right here in Monmouth. What started as a passion for hands-on craftsmanship has now become a career that I truly take pride in.

After finishing my initial training and completing my City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 in Plastering, which gave me the solid foundation I needed to hone my skills. The hands-on experience, combined with the technical knowledge I gained, set me up to become the professional I am today.

Please see below the plastering services we offer:

Achieve a flawless, smooth surface ready for painting or wallpapering.

Internal finish plastering is a technique used to apply a thin layer of plaster over a surface to create a smooth and even finish. It’s typically used to improve the appearance of walls or ceilings that are rough, damaged, or uneven. The process helps to give surfaces a professional, polished look, often before painting or wallpapering.

Protect and enhance exterior walls with durable finishes.

Rendering is the process of applying a coat of plaster or render to external walls, typically made from materials like cement, lime, or synthetic blends. Rendering is commonly done to improve the appearance of exterior walls, protect them from weather elements, or create a smooth, durable surface for further decoration or painting. It is a key part of building and construction, often seen in the finishing stages of new builds or renovations.

Fix cracks, holes, and damaged plaster to restore your walls.

Plaster repairs are essential for restoring the integrity and appearance of walls or ceilings that have been damaged over time. Whether it’s due to cracks, holes, water damage, or general wear and tear, plaster repairs can restore the surface to its original condition. The process typically involves patching, filling, or re-plastering damaged areas, and it can be done for both decorative and functional purposes.

Add elegance and character to your home.

Coving and decorative plasterwork are traditional techniques used to enhance the aesthetic appeal of walls and ceilings in a room. These features add elegance, character, and architectural detail to both modern and period properties. Coving, in particular, is used to create a smooth transition between the wall and ceiling, while decorative plasterwork encompasses a broader range of ornamental elements, such as ceiling roses, cornices, and moldings.

For the past ten years, I’ve worked on countless projects, refining my techniques and developing my craft. From small domestic jobs to large-scale commercial projects, I’ve seen and done it all. I continuously strive for the perfect finish, ensuring quality and precision in every aspect of my work.

Plastering isn’t just a job for me – it’s a craft I’ve mastered over the years. I’m committed to providing the best possible service, whether it’s for a home renovation, new build, or restoration project. The satisfaction of a job well done and seeing the transformation of a space is what keeps me passionate about plastering.

Renders for a variety of needs.

Monocouche Render
A pre-mixed, through-coloured render applied in a single coat. It provides a durable, low-maintenance finish with a textured or scraped look, commonly used on external walls. Its one-coat application saves time and labour, making it a cost-effective choice for many projects

Silicone Thin Coat Render
Highly flexible, breathable, and water-resistant finishing render, typically used over external wall insulation systems or prepared surfaces. It’s applied in a thin layer and offers excellent crack resistance, colour retention, and a smooth, modern appearance.

Improve energy efficiency and keep costs down.

Involves fixing insulation boards to the outside of a building and covering them with a protective, decorative render finish. It significantly improves energy efficiency by reducing heat loss, helps prevent damp, and refreshes the appearance of older properties. EWI is ideal for solid wall homes and can lead to lower heating bills and a more comfortable indoor environment.

Modern techniques that stand out.

Microcement is a thin, durable coating made from cement, polymers, and other additives, applied in layers to create a smooth, modern finish. It’s ideal for walls, floors, bathrooms, and even furniture, offering a seamless, waterproof surface that mimics the look of polished concrete. Available in various colours and textures, microcement is perfect for achieving a contemporary, minimalist aesthetic with high performance and easy maintenance.
